Sovereign Systems named in Inc. 500/5000 for Second Consecutive Year

Sovereign Systems, a specialized systems integrator and cloud services firm that helps companies transform the way they consume IT, today announced it has been ranked among Inc. Magazine's 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies for 2013, placing the company among an elite group of entrepreneurial firms across the U.S.

This is the second consecutive year Sovereign has made the list.

The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 companies are ranked according to the percentage of revenue growth from 2009 to 2012.

Companies on the Inc. 500 represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000 and are featured in Inc. Magazine's September issue.

Honorees this year include LivingSocial, Otterbox and Lifelock.

Past members of the Inc. 500 include well-known companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Pandora and Oracle.

To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009 and have revenue no less than $2 million in 2012. In addition, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2012 . The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000 ; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.
