Sovereign Systems, a specialized solutions provider and cloud services firm that helps companies transform the way they consume IT, has launched SovLabs, a distinctive team of software development, cloud extensibility, and DevOps experts.  The team was created to address an underserved customer need – the ability to deliver scalable IT services quickly and efficiently.

SovLabs services are wide ranging, and include front-end web portal content creation, IT service design, and process automation.  SovLabs specializes in extending the out-of-the-box capabilities of enterprise and open source configuration management, orchestration, and cloud management platforms.  SovLabs also offers strategic workshops, used to assess a customer’s specific objectives and technology environment.  Customized program plans and strategic roadmaps are developed based on the workshops, focusing on delivering increased business value and providing customers with an actionable plan for accomplishing their goals.

SovLabs is led by David Coulter, a multi-disciplined IT veteran and VMware certified design expert (VCDX #72), serves as SovLabs’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  David has several years experience designing and delivering IT automation solutions for Fortune 100 companies, and has a background in systems architecture, operations, and software development.

SovLabs is also pleased to welcome Tim Perry as the newest member of the SovLabs team.  Tim, who joins as a DevOps architect, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with IT architecture and operations, software development, continuous delivery, and configuration management.
